Things tend to snowball.
I’ve been working with getting my video files organized and all this video stuff has wafted into the wife’s mindset as well.
Like many people, we have a number of old VHS tapes from days gone by and she has now got me looking for a way to transfer those old home movies to digital. Simple enough, I think. We have a VHS player in the bedroom tv cabinet, if it still works. The idea though is to turn those tapes into digital files and since I’m some type of computer expert, we don’t want to have to spend a lot of money on it.
Simple enough. I got on Amazon and purchased a VHS – Digital converter for next to nothing at $14.99 and free shipping with Amazon Prime.
Hopefully, it won’t be a total piece of junk.
I already have visions of sifting through old VHS tapes for the remainder of the winter. Shouldn’t I be out taking photos?
