COVID-19 Hunker-down Log. Stardate 43997.30

Combating boredom. I arrived in Red Feather Lakes late yesterday afternoon. Fairly quiet up here in the high country. Mostly birds and little critters running around the property. Later today I intend to go exploring the wilderness in search of moose. There was a cow and calf hunkered down this morning when I woke up but I didn’t bother them as they seemed quite relaxed in the tall grass.

One of the chipmunks is quite interested in me. He/she keeps climbing on the deck to get a good look at me, or beg for food or something.

There’s also a mouse running around inside the cabin. Spotted him last night before going to bed. At least it didn’t eat my toes while I was asleep.

Happy thought inventory. Enjoying the start of my mountain getaway. Hunkering down in the suburbs of Denver isn’t the most exciting lifestyle, but it’s good to know I got all my chores done before leaving town.

Supply status. No worries

Weed inventory. Plenty.

Laundry status. All done.

No first-responder activity to report.

The hunkering down continues.

Still alive and well here in Red Feather Lakes.
