COVID-19 Hunker-down Log. Stardate 43994.37

Combating boredom. Most of the prep work on zone 2 of the deck is completed. I’ll be laying down stain today.

Starting to organize the camera kit. I haven’t taken a photography trip since March and it’s about time to get out of this hunkered-down rut. Heading to the cabin next week to begin my summer photography routine. Social distancing won’t be a problem, there’s hardly anyone where I’ll be heading. The only real change I’ll have to make is to avoid going to restaurants and such, any place where people gather in numbers for that matter. I’ll have cabin to myself and the nearest neighbors are out of town. It’ll be me and the chipmunks.

Trudy made a supply run yesterday. We had a good chuckle at her expense when unloading the groceries. Trudy laid a bag with ice cream in it on top of the stove and accidently turned the burner on in the process. Trudy burned the ice cream. The chocolate peanut butter now has a nice, smoky taste to it.

Happy thought inventory. It’s good to be getting to the end of the deck refinishing project. I should have it about 90% wrapped up by the end of the day today. It’s also good to have Trudy home. It gets lonely around here hunkered-down with nothing but a couple of goofy dogs to talk to.

Supply status. No worries

Weed inventory. Think I’ll pick some up for next week at the cabin.

Laundry status. Gotta get my laundry put away. I seem to be living from laundry baskets.

No first-responder activity to report.

The hunkering down continues.

Still alive and well here in Denver.
