COVID-19 Hunker-down Log. Stardate 43992.36

Combating boredom. Some days, it’s better to stay in bed. Our dog Fiona decided she’d wake me up this morning at 6 am by barking at the work crew gathering in front of my neighbors house. First the window, then the door, then another window, non stop barking. I had to close every window and door in the house just to get her to shut up. Lovely.

Later while having coffee on the porch, Fiona decides to kill the fledgling birds fluttering around in the back yard grass. I intervened before any damage was done. Bird rule #1, when you first leave the nest, learn to fly quickly.

Happy thought inventory. The bee garden in the back yard is greening up nicely. The spiderwort is blooming first as usual.

Trudy is on her way home from Red Feathers. I can use some human company. Living in dog world for a week can be entertaining some times but for the most part, human interaction is better.

Supply status. No worries

Weed inventory. Plenty.

Laundry status. Only a couple of loads left to finish.

No first-responder activity to report.

The hunkering down continues.

Still alive and well here in Denver.
