COVID-19 Hunker-down Log. Stardate 43972.68

Combating boredom. Work continues on resurfacing the back deck. I’ve been starting early in the day to keep out of the heat. About half way done with preparing the wood. We went to Home Depot to buy additional necessary supplies and with any luck I’ll have the deck refinished by the end of the month, weather permitting.

My lawn watering programmable controller is all out of whack. Today wasn’t supposed to be a watering day but when I got up at dawn this morning, it was running. Well, stupid me. I left an unused program active and it was defaulted to turn on for 10 minutes per zone. Did a hard reset on everything and reprogrammed the darn thing.

I did get the backyard mowed yesterday.

Happy thought inventory. We still have a little cake left in the kitchen, think I’ll gobble up a piece tonight while I’m watching car shows.

No television today. I like leaving the television off, it’s much more peaceful. The only time I turn it on is to catch a car show, and we are about down to nothing but reruns now, so I expect to have even less tv time moving forward.

Enjoying the early evenings on the porch now that the weather is warmer and the plants are greening up.

Supply status. Excellent condition.

Weed inventory. Excellent condition

Laundry status. Excellent condition.

No first-responder activity to report.

The hunkering down continues.

Still alive and well here in Denver.
