COVID-19 Hunker-down Log. Stardate 43969.40

Combating boredom. I got my chocolate cake last night as hoped for. Ate it while watching rerun car shows.

Today, we go to Lowes to pick up more flowers, dirt and other necessary yard stuff. Things are greening up nicely here and the flowers give us something to work on that will have a positive effect on our efforts to combat the boredom.

I managed to mow the front lawn yesterday, and trim around the edges. The sprinkler system is doing its job. The grass is filling in nicely and other than the parts of the yard where the nit-wit sprinkler guy tore the lawn up last summer, it’s doing pretty well. I expect the bad areas will eventually fill in.

Happy thought inventory. Looking over my stock photography sales year to date, I’m actually ahead of last year with sales by about 15%. I’ll take it. I’ve been adding tweet-bird photos to the stock catalogs, but they haven’t sold yet. I’m thinking there isn’t a shortage of tweet-bird photos right now. Every photographer and their mother is sitting around doing the same thing as me. But, it keeps me smiling when I find a new, good photo.
