COVID-19 Hunker-down Log. Stardate 43961.25

Combating boredom. The kitchen sink faucet replacement went as planned yesterday. Thirty minutes of grueling work twisting a crescent wrench and sponging up water dribbles beneath the sink. Once completed, I took a nap.

More photos of tweet-birds. The birds are becoming more habituated to our presence and have begun staying at the bird bath for longer stretches of time. This of course allows me to get even more photos of them from 15 feet away. We now have blue jays hanging out along the perimeter in the blue spruce trees. One came in close to investigate the water situation but was too skittish to get any closer than 30 feet, and then only for a few seconds.

Happy thought inventory. Today is Mother’s Day, so we’ll be sharing our good wishes and celebrating our mothers.

Supply status. No worries.

Weed inventory. No worries.

Laundry status. No worries.

No first-responder activity to report.

The hunkering down continues.

Still alive and well here in Denver.
