COVID-19 Hunker-down Log. Stardate 43955.38

Combating boredom. A fairly relaxing weekend spent mostly chilling in the yard, grilling on the grill, and goofing off around the house. Nothing seems overly immediate and we kind of like it. The current state of mind is we’ll get to it after later.

We did shuffle the vehicles around and I topped off the oil in the Subaru. Been driving the Explorer for the past month, we’ve only used a half tank of gas and most of that has been to go to the grocery or pick up some type of necessary items at home depot or wherever. We do wear our masks when we go out. That seems to be the exception rather than the rule out there in virus land. No slackers here on that account.

Happy thought inventory. Just enjoying the nice weather and relaxing on the porch. The leaves are popping out on the trees and shrubs and it’s beginning to look like winter is in the rear view mirror. We even have tulips, which normally bloom a little earlier and then get wiped out by a snow storm. We have been limiting our intake of television news to just the local news broadcasts and maybe 30 minutes of nightly news. Keeps the noise to a minimum and keeps the local issues in front of us. We’ve been watching Netflix more as of late. We seldom tune in to Netflix, but the main cable channels are more or less reruns now.

Tonight, I think we’ll have pizza for dinner. Haven’t had a lot of pizza since this pandemic started, but every now and again, it’s a welcome change of pace.

Supply status. Looking good.

Weed inventory. Still fine.

Laundry status. Turns out I wasn’t motivated to do laundry yesterday. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. No rush, nothing is stinking yet.

No first-responder activity to report.

The hunkering down continues.

Still alive and well here in Denver.
