COVID-19 Hunker-down Log. Stardate 43952.31

Combating boredom. Yard work continues. We’ve completed the planting of the new blue spruce tree. Freshly mowed lawn. Flower garden cleaned up and de-weeded. Seeds planted for later transplant into the garden. Daily photographs of the neighborhood birds. Keeping a positive mindset is easier if you stay busy.

Happy thought inventory. We’ve fired up the grill and have been enjoying the typical summer cooking on the deck. Burgers, brats, pasta salad, iced tea, that type of stuff. Comfort food, American style. Nothing overly healthy.

Supply status. It’s about time for another supply run. Trudy normally handles this task. Every trip to the grocery results in some new anecdote of dumbasses wandering around in public with no regard for the situation upon us. There are a lot of people out there who seem to be in complete denial that we are in the middle of a pandemic. We quite literally avoid them like the plague.

Weed inventory. Enough to get us through another week or two.

Laundry status. We be good.

No first-responder activity to report.

The hunkering down continues.

Still alive and well here in Denver.
